The need for Weightlifting Hooks and Weightlifting Straps has fueled more than one Gym Day debate over the years. Admittedly, looking back to my early days of Weightlifting, Wrist Straps for Lifting were hardly a concern. At least for a pimple faced dweeb overwhelmed by the sights, sounds, and smell of the local testosterone filled gym. While struggling to master endless Resistance Exercises and Weightlifting Techniques. At some point during this workout fixation, I recall asking a 'big guy' if he thought I needed Gym Straps. To lift more like him. He laughed and said hell no! Not until my arms were wider than his Lifting Straps. Needless to say, a vow was sworn that day to surpass his ass in size, strength, and Gym cred. Without the need to resort to Wrist Straps for Lifting Weights in the process. And while I eventually achieved far more in the craft of Drug Free Bodybuilding than my mentor, it was in part through use of Weight lifting Hooks and Weight lifting Straps. That at some point in the physical progression earned the status of essential Weightlifting Gear. For Legs, Traps, and Back Day Workouts. Which for me was primarily due to the enhanced ability to target Upper Back Muscles. Through use of a thumbless grip hook up. As was applied to pretty much all Row Exercises to the degree possible. For you see at that time in history as is still true today, errantly designed Wrist Hooks simply could not be trusted. To retain Barbells, Dumbbells etc. in total grip fail situations. So that when things were getting good during late set, barrier breaching repetitions, I'd have to bail and rack the weight. Or fail and drop it. The very issue for which I'd assumed Hooks for Weightlifting were created to terminate. Which generally left me no choice but to resort to plan B wrist strangling nooses called Workout Straps. That never failed to keep weights from hitting the floor. Of course, at the expense of purple blood starved hands that I never got used to seeing. In any case that's what led to the creation of Haulin Hooks for Weightlifting. As motivated by a quest for bodybuilding glory. For which was required both Wrist Straps, and Gym Hooks. Combined in the same unit that could accommodate any Weightlifting Exercises situation. Without the need to slow workouts with a grip aid change out. More importantly Haulin Hooks could not strangle wrists, and the hooks had to hold tight. During focused Lat attacks with thumbless grips on 150# dumbbells. Or during 600# Deadlifts and 400# barbell shrugs. For sets of twenty during total grip failure situations.   Haulin Hooks delivered on the promise with high performance features to include a Tug n Snug Velcro / Neoprene Wrist Wrap. Complete with custom fit Hook Sleeves. In event your buddy forgot his. Plus 'Center Pull' Hooks that would never, ever fail to hold until told to let go. As combined with Weightlifting Wrist straps so Lifters could choose on the fly Powerlifter Strap n Wraps, or Instant Bodybuilder Hooks Ups. In an effort to abuse proof Haulin Hooks a pull tester was actually created. To evaluate and validate that all materials and craftsmanship could easily accommodate the rated usage poundage. End result? Lift More, Pull More, Grow More with a Lifetime Warranty to back it all up. In conclusion when should a Lifter use WEIGHTLIFTING HOOKS & STRAPS? Only when needed. As in when grip loss defines the end of upward progression. Which aside from thumbless grip bodybuilder type muscle targeting, will generally occur when attempting to surpass formally achieved personal performance ceilings. In both strength and endurance. For given Legs, Back, and Trap workouts.
